Hello friends and happy Thursday! I cannot believe we’re already at the end of May when I could’ve sworn that it just started like two weeks ago. This is pure insanity. The last few months haven’t been the best reading wise for me and I’d been kind of disappointed in myself but I promised that I’d turn things around and I think this was finally my month! I was still as busy as I normally am but I think I was picking up books that worked for me and it kept me going. My Reading Challenge still might be a mess but I’m not worrying about that now. I got nothing but good vibes coming out of May.
Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I’ve been a bit distracted lately (and by distracted I mean having my nose completely stuck in a book) so this post probably should’ve happened a couple days ago but better late than never, eh? My last couple months haven’t been that great for reading and I made a promise to myself that I’d use April to redeem myself and I almost met the usual goal and came out pretty happy with how the month went. I guess it also helps that I was only reading one author the whole month and I’m always excited for her books. My Reading Challenge is still a mess but that’s ok. It’s a work in progress.
Hello friends and happy Sunday! And a Happy Easter to all those celebrating! I was trying to take a little break this weekend due to Easter, which is why I missed COTW the other day, but I’m able to crank out this Month In Review today so that should make it easier to forgive me. Majority of the time when I’m doing these posts I always talk about how fast the days are going by but for me it felt like this month would never end. It dragged on and on and I’m beyond thankful that March is finally over. Time to brush it in a corner and ignore it forever. Even though March felt super long I didn’t get as much reading done as I’d like and I feel like I let myself down. Present me is very disappointed in past me. You’ll see why.
Hello friends and happy Wednesday! Another month is ending which means it’s time for the always fun Month In Review. No offence but I hate February because it’s too short and it always goes by way too fast. Plus one day you’re bombarded with snow and the next it’s like 10 degrees because February can’t seem to make up its mind. Anyone else feel this way? Just me? Ok cool. Regardless of my dislike for February, I feel like it turned out to be pretty stellar as far as reading goes. Though I haven’t found too many new releases to sink into, I did manage to find some reads that were new to me and I think they kept me pretty happy.
Hello friends and happy Wednesday! Woo hoo, it’s the first Month In Review of the new year! How have we already gone through an entire month when it feels like January just started? I seriously no longer understand the concept of time. Last year I felt like I was a little slow out of the gate with getting my reading on track but this year it’s like I shot out of a rocket. I have a big goal to reach at the end of the year and I’m not letting myself get behind whatsoever. Gotta keep moving, gotta keep reading. Speaking of reading, let’s get to the point of this post: the books!
Hello friends and happy Sunday! And Happy New Year’s Eve as well! What a crazy year it’s been and it’s still unbelievable that it’s finally over. Anyways, this is usually the time where I would do my Month In Review but since I’ve been focusing more on rereading old favourites, I haven’t really read anything new or noteworthy. So we’re skipping forward to the Year In Review! Let’s get into all the ups and downs of my 2017 reads.
Hello friends and happy end of the month! I cannot believe we’re almost at the end of the year. How did that happen? I’ve been so out of it that I didn’t even realize it was time for month in review. But now we can start getting ready for Christmas and all those fun things, like presents and decorating the tree and Christmas baking!! I’m getting ahead of myself so let’s get back to the books. Not too many new books came out for me this month but I still managed to get some good reads in! Plus, I completed my reading challenge! A month early! I’m sure I could’ve changed it again but I wasn’t in the mood to, but my goal is a really big accomplishment for me so it doesn’t even matter. I’m proud of myself.
Hello friends! First of all, Happy Halloween!! I can’t believe we’re already at the end of October. It feels like it was just summer a couple weeks ago but we’re actually getting closer and closer to Christmas. Man, time is crazy. So, let’s get down to what may be one of my favourite things to do on here: month in review! Even though not a whole lot of new books were released for me this month, which would explain the lack of an Upcoming Releases post, I think I still managed to get some good reads in. And judging by the fact that I had to change my reading challenge not once, but TWICE means that I’ve been doing quite well in the reading department. Let’s get down to it!
Hello friends! We’ve yet again finished another month and the year is starting to wind down. I actually really love this time of year because it’s my favourite season and the weather is finally cooling down and Thanksgiving is just a week away which means that this time next week I’ll be getting ready to eat some delicious turkey. Though I’m also a bit sad because the baseball season is over and my team isn’t making it to the postseason this year. But I still have all these books to help get me through it and keep me happy. So let’s get to all the wonderful books I read this month, shall we?
Hello friends! Yet again, another month has come and gone and it has pretty much taken summer with it. Not to be the most redundant person ever but it’s seriously mind boggling how fast time is flying by. The little kiddies are going back to school next week and I’ll still be having my post-grad existential crisis and attempting to accept the fact that I’m not going back to school for the first time in my life ever. But it’s ok, I’ll be fine. You wanna know why? It’s because I still have all these wonderful books to read! This post isn’t about the future reads though, that’s something else entirely. No, we’re here to talk about the past reads from this month. Let’s get to it, shall we?
