Hello friends and happy Wednesday! Woo hoo, it’s the first Month In Review of the new year! How have we already gone through an entire month when it feels like January just started? I seriously no longer understand the concept of time. Last year I felt like I was a little slow out of the gate with getting my reading on track but this year it’s like I shot out of a rocket. I have a big goal to reach at the end of the year and I’m not letting myself get behind whatsoever. Gotta keep moving, gotta keep reading. Speaking of reading, let’s get to the point of this post: the books!
Hello friends and happy Sunday! And Happy New Year’s Eve as well! What a crazy year it’s been and it’s still unbelievable that it’s finally over. Anyways, this is usually the time where I would do my Month In Review but since I’ve been focusing more on rereading old favourites, I haven’t really read anything new or noteworthy. So we’re skipping forward to the Year In Review! Let’s get into all the ups and downs of my 2017 reads.
Hello friends and happy end of the month! I cannot believe we’re almost at the end of the year. How did that happen? I’ve been so out of it that I didn’t even realize it was time for month in review. But now we can start getting ready for Christmas and all those fun things, like presents and decorating the tree and Christmas baking!! I’m getting ahead of myself so let’s get back to the books. Not too many new books came out for me this month but I still managed to get some good reads in! Plus, I completed my reading challenge! A month early! I’m sure I could’ve changed it again but I wasn’t in the mood to, but my goal is a really big accomplishment for me so it doesn’t even matter. I’m proud of myself.
Hello friends! First of all, Happy Halloween!! I can’t believe we’re already at the end of October. It feels like it was just summer a couple weeks ago but we’re actually getting closer and closer to Christmas. Man, time is crazy. So, let’s get down to what may be one of my favourite things to do on here: month in review! Even though not a whole lot of new books were released for me this month, which would explain the lack of an Upcoming Releases post, I think I still managed to get some good reads in. And judging by the fact that I had to change my reading challenge not once, but TWICE means that I’ve been doing quite well in the reading department. Let’s get down to it!
Hello friends! We’ve yet again finished another month and the year is starting to wind down. I actually really love this time of year because it’s my favourite season and the weather is finally cooling down and Thanksgiving is just a week away which means that this time next week I’ll be getting ready to eat some delicious turkey. Though I’m also a bit sad because the baseball season is over and my team isn’t making it to the postseason this year. But I still have all these books to help get me through it and keep me happy. So let’s get to all the wonderful books I read this month, shall we?
Hello friends! Yet again, another month has come and gone and it has pretty much taken summer with it. Not to be the most redundant person ever but it’s seriously mind boggling how fast time is flying by. The little kiddies are going back to school next week and I’ll still be having my post-grad existential crisis and attempting to accept the fact that I’m not going back to school for the first time in my life ever. But it’s ok, I’ll be fine. You wanna know why? It’s because I still have all these wonderful books to read! This post isn’t about the future reads though, that’s something else entirely. No, we’re here to talk about the past reads from this month. Let’s get to it, shall we?
Hello friends! Another month has flown by and we’re basically halfway through summer. Part of me wants to say that July went by slowly but when I think about it, it really didn’t. I know I saw this all the time but it honestly boggles my mind that tomorrow is August. If I was still in high school I’d probably start complaining because that would mean there’s only one month left of summer. Man, those were the days. Anyways, enough of this existential nonsense let’s get down to the books!
Hello friends, and happy summer!! It still boggles my mind how fast time goes by and you barely notice it. How are we already at the end of June?? How are we at the halfway mark for 2017??? It’s crazy!! You wanna know another thing I can’t believe? I have officially had this blog for a month! I’ve been having such a great time running this blog so far and I just want to send a quick thank you to all of you who’ve been reading my reviews and following the blog, it really means a lot to me. I feel like we’re hitting a groove here and good things will start happening soon. *fingers crossed* Anyways, let’s get down to the point of this post: the books!
Doesn’t it feel like May just started? How is it already over? I guess it’s true what they say: time flies when you’re having fun. And by fun, I mean reading books. To quote the great Arthur the aardvark, having fun isn’t hard when you’ve got a TBR pile! *jazz hands* He didn’t actually say that but let’s pretend he did because it works better. I know my blog is still fairly new and I’m still trying to work out all the kinks but it’s been fun so far. I can only go up from here and I can’t wait to get started. So, let’s talk about how the month of May finished up!
Welcome to books, trust, & pixie dust!
