Hello friends and happy Tuesday! So, I just went to the bookstore a couple hours ago, as one typically does on a Tuesday night, and I ended up buying more books than I intended because someone told me about a book I should read so obviously I bought it. That got me thinking and gave me a bit of inspiration for today’s list. Now I know the title seems a bit misleading so I should probably clarify that when I say “forced” I mean it in a relatively joking matter. It’s more like how someone really talked up a book to be and because of that I ended up adding it to my list. I probably wouldn’t have read these books if I hadn’t been forced into it so it’s all good.

Here is today’s Top Five Tuesday: Books I’ve Been Forced Into Reading!

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a good day today. So, if you haven’t noticed yet, I may or may not have a thing for princes. Love, love, love ’em. And I’ve been thinking a lot about princes and princesses lately partially due to the new Wreck It Ralph 2 trailer (you know that scene with all the princesses???? Cannot wait!!!) and also partially due to how it looks like a lot of the books I intend to read in the upcoming month will feature royalty in one way or another so I felt a bit inspired for today’s Top Five. I also could’ve grouped both my YA and NA princes together but I thought solely YA would be quite sufficient. And there’s a lot more to choose from in that pool.  This is gonna be a fun time.

Hello friends and happy Monday!

Today’s Moodboard Monday is dedicated to yet another book I’m surprised I haven’t done yet but is truly a masterpiece, Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh! I not only love that this book is a Mulan retelling but I really love the fact that Ahdieh found so many ways to insert references from the Disney movie (especially the songs); it made me so giddy. Oh, and this perfect timing too because the sequel in this duology comes out TOMORROW! I cannot wait to read it and find out how this is all going to end.

Until next time,

Hello friends and happy Thursday! I cannot believe we’re already at the end of May when I could’ve sworn that it just started like two weeks ago. This is pure insanity. The last few months haven’t been the best reading wise for me and I’d been kind of disappointed in myself but I promised that I’d turn things around and I think this was finally my month! I was still as busy as I normally am but I think I was picking up books that worked for me and it kept me going. My Reading Challenge still might be a mess but I’m not worrying about that now. I got nothing but good vibes coming out of May.

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! Well, that’s quite the long title isn’t it? But it literally says it all. I don’t know how many of you are like me and constantly want to read the same books over and over again but it’s a serious problem for me. Last year I did a lot of rereading, ended up rereading 18 books in total. I’m trying to be better this year but it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Every time I finish a new book and I try to figure out what to read next I’m like “ok so what can I reread now?” And I’m always going back to the same books so when I say it’s a problem I really mean it. So I figured that I should share my massive problem with all of you now.

Here is today’s Top Five Tuesday: Books I Need To Stop Rereading But Can’t

Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good day.

Today’s Moodboard Monday is dedicated to what may or may not become my favourite new release of 2018, though it’s still super early, To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo! I fell so deeply in love with this book and a lot of it has to do with it being a retelling of my favourite fairytale but it’s also such a great book on its own. Ugh, I just love it so much I can barely contain myself.

Until next time,

“How strange that instead of taking his heart, I’m hoping he takes mine.”

Princess Lira is siren royalty and the most lethal of them all. With the hearts of seventeen princes in her collection, she is revered across the sea. Until a twist of fate forces her to kill one of her own. To punish her daughter, the Sea Queen transforms Lira into the one thing they loathe most—a human. Robbed of her song, Lira has until the winter solstice to deliver Prince Elian’s heart to the Sea Queen or remain a human forever.

The ocean is the only place Prince Elian calls home, even though he is heir to the most powerful kingdom in the world. Hunting sirens is more than an unsavory hobby—it’s his calling. When he rescues a drowning woman in the ocean, she’s more than what she appears. She promises to help him find the key to destroying all of sirenkind for good—But can he trust her? And just how many deals will Elian have to barter to eliminate mankind’s greatest enemy?

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! It’s been a very long and tiring day and I am just looking forward to curling up with my book for the rest of the night. So I think the topic for today’s Top Five is gonna be quite interesting. It looks like it could go down the negative route but I don’t think that at all. I came upon this topic because every time I’m in my room or figuring out what to read next, there always seems to be certain books that I just don’t want to pick up right now. I don’t know if it’s because of what I’m in the mood for or there’s just something from preventing me from doing so. Either way, I intend to explore this and figure out what my deal is because I gotta read these books eventually.

Here is today’s Top Five Tuesday: Books I Seem To Be Avoiding!

Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good day. I’d been enjoying my day off so much, catching up on shows and books and all, that I almost forgot about this but I’m here! I remembered!

Today’s Moodboard Monday is dedicated to a book that I 100% thought I’d already done but apparently I haven’t and honestly, I’m a bit disappointed in myself. It is one of my all time favourite books, The Archived by Victoria Schwab. I love this book for so many reasons and it’s beyond important to me which is how I don’t get how I haven’t done this moodboard already. I feel like I’ve talk about this enough that you all probably know why you should read it if you haven’t already.

Until next time,

“One moment. One picture. One glimpse—that’s all it takes to make someone think they know the truth.”

It’s Spring Break of senior year. Anna, her boyfriend Tate, her best friend Elise, and a few other close friends are off on a debaucherous trip to Aruba that promises to be the time of their lives. But when Elise is found brutally murdered, Anna finds herself trapped in a country not her own, fighting against vile and contemptuous accusations.

As Anna sets out to find her friend’s killer, she discovers hard truths about her friendships, the slippery nature of truth, and the ache of young love.

As she awaits the judge’s decree, it becomes clear that everyone around her thinks she is not just guilty, but dangerous. When the truth comes out, it is more shocking than one could ever imagine…
